The conversations by senior management in addressing this issue have to be sincere and meaningful. We need to track these tragedies to get a true picture.
Thanks to Global 16X9 for the show and hosting this blog. Provides needed attention to this important issue, furthers the discussion, and keeps it in the public eye. We have much more to do in this arena, but we have a number of people from different perspectives helping forward the agenda across Canada. Overall we are a resilient bunch and it is in coming together to further the efforts success will hopefully be realized over time. Thank you for including me in the discussion...
Again, I would like to thank Global for bringing this issue to the forefront. And thank you for hosting this session today! Please remember, the life in need of saving may be your own. It's not a weakness to ask for help, but a strength. Reach out to the great organizations available to you; CCISF, Many-to-One, Badge of Life, and TEMA. We're all here to help!
Although it is very difficult, you have to seek the appropriate help. Through Proper treatment combined with support you can get your life back. You will never be what you used to be but things will get better.
Ok folks, we are going to wrap this up now. Thanks to everyone who participated in this discussion, and thanks in particular to our guests Dr Morley, Sgt Soin and Vince Savoia, and to firefighter Jeff Balch, Paramedic Rob Ichelson, Lt-Gen Romeo Dallaire and Asst Commissioner Moreau for participating in our story.
This chat will be available shortly as an archived transcript. Thanks again for your participation.
