Now in its 12th year, LG Fashion Week is Toronto's premier event for designers, buyers, media, and fashionistas alike.
Designers will be presenting their Fall/Winter 2011 collections from March 28 to April 2, 2011 on the runway at Toronto's Heritage Court and in venues around town. - Looking forward to seeing the photos from Arthur Mendonca's big comeback! Mark Fast is a 30 year old Canadian knitwear designer. He grew up outside the city of Winnipeg, in the countryside along a highway next to a forest. This minimal, peaceful lifestyle led him to wonder what life might be like beyond the familiar frontiers of Canada.
Fast has shown at London Fashion Week for the past few seasons, and has created a buzz in the fashion world for breaking with fashion world convention and regularly using average-size models.
For his AW11/12 collection Mark has designed several leather pieces that have been produced by Canadian leather goods company Danier. Mark travelled to Toronto to work at the Danier atelier on development and plans to work with them on a capsule collection to be released later this year.

by trishhoang via twitter 3/26/2011 9:17:21 PM- The fourth annual The Heart Truth fashion show took place on March 24th, 2011 at Toronto's Carlu. This year for the first time, celebrity men walked The Heart Truth runway to show their support for the women they love.
The men joined female celebrities on the runway, including Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert who wore VAWK during the Heart Truth Fashion Show.
